Alex Kade, M.P.T.

Alexander Kade graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 1996 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and then went on to obtain his Masters in Physical Therapy in 1998.

One of the reasons he pursued a career in Physical Therapy is because as a professional wrestler he saw the profound positive influence that therapy had on the body. Alex had also seen the effects that alternative medicine had on him as a child. He was sick a lot and not wanting to turn to medications and hospital visits, he found herbs, homeopathy and his own therapies gave him true healing results.

In his practice now, Alex specializes in Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, McKenzie Therapy, Buteyko Normalization Breathing and Lymphodema Drainage and complete Decongestion Therapy. He uses these techniques in conjunction with traditional modalities such as strengthening exercises and massage therapy. His clientele ranges in age from infants to seniors.

Always hungry to learn, Alex continues to broaden his spectrum of knowledge in the healing arts which he can use to help his patients. Nothing pleases him more than to see the progress in those he works with. The more he learns, the more he can help others and that is one of the driving forces of his practice. In his own words he says, “I am so glad I chose to be a Physical Therapist. I love coming to work. There is no other profession that I would rather be in.”
